MyMorph Installation - Additional Instructions

Installing MyMorph on computers using Windows 98 For individuals who have not previously installed the Visual Basic runtime, MyMorph will produce the following error message: Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\MSSoap\Binaries\MSSMO.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147023739. Contact your support personnel. Install the Visual Basic runtime prior to installing MyMorph. Click here to download the Visual Basic runtime software. The file is 1.1 megabytes in size. When prompted to Open or Save, select Open. The software will install immediately after it is downloaded. Once Visual Basic runtime is installed, MyMorph may be installed without encountering errors.
MyMorph and Norton Internet Security  Norton Internet Security (various versions) prevents MyMorph from running.

Instruct Norton Internet Security to allow MyMorph to run on your computer. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Norton Internet Security dialog box.
  2. Select Personal Firewall.
  3. Select Configure. A new dialog box will appear.
  4. Select Program Control.
  5. Under Manual Program Control, add the path to the MyMorph.exe file (c:\program files\mymorph\mymorph.exe).
  6. Choose Permit which will allow MyMorph to access the Internet.
  7. Click OK.
