Start MyMorph by choosing MyMorph on the Start/Programs menu or double clicking on the MyMorph icon on the desktop. The following will appear:

MyMorph dialog box

The Submit Files window will contain a list of all the files that have been selected for file conversion. The Results window contains a list of recently converted files. As MyMorph processes files, their entries are removed from the Submit Files window and entered into the Results window. Click Here for a brief explanation of MyMorph's buttons:

  1. Select files for conversion.  Select files by clicking the Add File button. Files that are selected are added to the Submit Files window.  To select more than one file, press the Ctrl or Shift keys  while left clicking with your mouse to select more than one file.  Use Ctrl-a to select all files. Only files that are highlighted will be processed.
  2. View button.  Optionally use the View button below the Submit Files window to see the file to be converted.
  3. Results folder.  Clicking the Results Folder to select the folder where you want the converted files to be stored.
  4. Alternative: Select files through Windows Explorer. Users may also select files to be converted using through Windows Explorer. Use Windows Explorer to select the folder containing the files you wish to convert. Select the file(s) you wish to convert. While the mouse cursor is over the selected file(s), click the Right mouse button. Clicking the Right mouse button will brings up a short-cut menu. One of the menu items is Convert via MyMorph. Click Convert via MyMorph with the left mouse button. The selected files will automatically be added to MyMorph's window of files to be processed. If you use Convert via MyMorph, and MyMorph is not already running, your computer will automatically run MyMorph and enter the files your selected into MyMorph.
  5. Select the output file format.  Select whether Morph will convert your files to PDF, TIFF or text.  If your file already is already in the selected format, it will not be converted, but merely copied to the Results folder.  Files converted to text will not retain the original page layout; the output will be ASCII text.  If TEXT is chosen, then also select the language that dominates the file to be converted.  For the case where images are converted to text, this tends to improve the reliability of conversion.
  6. Process files. Users may choose to process all of the files or specific files. Click the Select All button in the Submit Files window to process all of the files. To process one file or a group of files, hold the Ctrl key down while left clicking with your mouse on specific files. Only files that are highlighted will be processed.
  7. Begin file conversion. Clicking the Start button. As files are processed, the results will appear in the Results window.
  8. View button.  Optionally use the View button below the Results window to see the converted files.
  9. Windows Explorer.  Optionally use the Windows Explorer button to open the folder containing the converted files.
